ABOUT SCIENCE 2

Science 2 is a class that is here to get Sophmores prepared for the wasl at the end of the school year. You will learn the basics of life, what the human body is made out of, the different types of Proteins, how DNA works, What Carbohydrates are used for, and why we need Lipids.

You will also learn what the difference is between Mitosis and Meiosis. You will do cool labs like the Mating game, and look at your own DNA. You will also make Soda from Yeast, and Sourcrout from yeast.

You will be taUght what the five different kingdoms there are and what is in them. You will be taght Taxonomy and all of the different ways to put all of the creatures on earth into their own kingdom, Division, Family, Specific Epithet ETC.
